About
Tulia Counseling
I began my career in leadership roles, gaining experience both in large corporations and dynamic startups. Over time, I realized that my true passion lay in supporting others on a deeper, more personal level, which led me to pursue training in psychotherapy. As a BIPOC woman, parent, and business leader, I understand firsthand the complexities and pressures of balancing these various identities and roles. With a deep sense of empathy, I’m committed to helping individuals navigate challenges such as work-related stress or growth, relationship and parenting struggles, anxiety, depression, multicultural concerns, and trauma. My approach is rooted in compassion, insight, and a commitment to helping you find healing and balance in your life.

I am proudly an African American / Black therapist in Eagan, Minnesota. I am a married cisgendered, heterosexual female-identifying person who is an LGBTQ+ ally and advocate.

Professional Background
Prior to beginning my journey into therapy I served as an Executive Leadership member of a large international healthcare organization. After this role, I co-founded a medical technology startup while parenting two small children. I found my passion was mentoring team members and thinking holistically about how to keep our people healthy amongst the chaos of life. Today, I serve clients of a various backgrounds and find connections in their stories to help improve their wellness.
